NATIONAL TRUST PRESS RELEASE
FOLLOW IN LUCIA'S FOOTSTEPS AND HELP BRING LAMB HOUSE TO LIFE.
Lamb House played host to the BBC’s adaptation of Mapp and Lucia in the summer of 2014 as ‘Mallards’ and we now have opportunities for volunteers to help bring the stories hiding in Lamb’s walls to life. There’s more than meets the eye at this Georgian house, it’s got a vibrant garden and a vast literary past which stars many well-known and influential authors.
Visit us on Tuesday 17 March for a tour and chat about how the filming took place, the house’s other famous residents and what volunteer roles we have available. 2015 will be an exciting year for Lamb House as we open our doors for even longer and we show off a few props and behind the scenes photos from the show too.
We will be running two sessions on the day, one at 11:30 and one at 14:30. Please contact Susannah Mayor on 01580 762334 or email Susannah.Mayor@nationaltrust.org.uk to book a slot or for more information.
